Code is the bread and butter of what we do here at Spaceflow. It flows through almost everything. Most importantly, we have people who make sure of that. People like Marek Makovec.

Marek is coding for the better half of his life. After finishing his studies, he ventured into several companies mostly with a strong focus on PHP and backend development. Even tried Python and a bit of embedded programming once! But then, straight back to PHP. After a few years, a friend at Spaceflow called for help. And Marek answered. 💪

As a software developer at Spaceflow, Marek takes care of the backend with a slight overreach in other areas of development. Code is where his heart is, but he never shies away from helping his colleagues with technical needs or checking out the logs and database from time to time to make sure everything is running smoothly. Migrating to a brand new technology that the platform runs on was a huge deal for the entire team and an important step into the future. 🚀

Outside of work, Marek is jumping from one world to another, from enjoying a barbeque with his colleagues to spending some peaceful time with his friends in the digital worlds of Valheim or Farming Simulator. Sometimes, you just need to give the real world a break. 🎮
